Without the ability to read music a composer uses dice to write scores. In this personalized language the amount of dots rolled on the dice signify different musical notes. Inspired by this novel approach to a familiar toy, Grace J invites viewers to move the dominoes and blocks on their artwork to co-create new combinations.

This piece was inspired by the light, rhythm and movement of the ocean where artist lives.

The artist invites viewers to play with the clear dominoes to create new visual interpretations of sound. She intended for the piece to be interactive and ever-changing. The way the light transfers through the transparent medium and casts shadows is reminiscent of light passing through water.
